Road Access
Access Nazaré, coming from any part of the country, by the A8 Motorway (linking Lisbon to Leiria), get out in the exit Nazaré (6 km away from the town), following on the National Road E.N. 8-5, or by the A1 Motorway (Lisbon/Oporto) that connects with the A8. By Train
One can arrive at Nazaré by train on the Oeste railroad line (that links Lisbon to Figueira da Foz) and get off in Valado dos Frades (6 km away from Nazaré). It’s also possible to change train to other cities. To take international trains one has to go by bus or train to Lisbon or Coimbra . Information on schedules and itineraries at:www.cp.pt. By Bus
It is possible to arrive at Nazaré, by bus, from the main Portuguese cities with the Rede de Expressos (information on schedule and itineraries at: www.rede-expressos.pt). To leave Nazaré, the same Rede de Expressos links the town to the rest of the country, either directly or changing buses in other cities. |
